Biodiversity

The good weather has brought with it the opportunity for a number of classes to learn about nature in our own school garden.

Third & fourth classes have had the privilege of working with former vice-principal and expert bee-keeper, Seán Byrne, in learning about biodiversity. They also planted a Scots Pine and learned about ways in which they can positively impact the environment.

Ms. Branagan’s sixth class also took the opportunity to get out into the garden and get their own hands dirty with some mindful gardening.
