The Parent Association at Patrician Primary School promotes and facilitates good communication between parents/guardians and the school. It also supports the school in a number of ways. This includes consultation on policy development, organising fun activities for the children and also providing much-needed fundraising for the school. The main source of fundraising is through the Patrician Primary School Lotto. Click on the pictures above to see details on how it works, what it has provided for the children so far and how to join.
The Parent Association itself meets approximately once a month in the school at approximately 7:30pm. There is no pressure to join any committees, to go to every meeting or to do more than what you are comfortable with. Meetings are an opportunity to chat with other parents/guardians, as well as staff, on how the school can continue to provide for the children. Newcomers are always welcome, as well as the occasional 'helping hand' for some of our fun events, which include Christmas raffles, a summer duck race, book fairs and more.
An AGM is held once a year in September to outline the business from the previous year and to elect a new committee for the new school year.
